I took the last 4 or 5 days off from Spark. I had a little muscle pull in my back and was out of commission for a little bit. Started feeling better today and it felt really good to get back to the gym after some time off. I did not track any food or do any exercise from last Thursday until yesterday. I guess at 40, maybe I'm too old to be lifting dryers up and carrying them up stairs.
I have 2 more weeks from today, before my second weigh in on the 1st of the month. I don't think I will match the 20 Lbs I lost last month but I'm sure I will be happy with whatever the scale says. Hoping for at least 10 Lbs.
Going to put the weight training on hold for a week until my back is 100% better. It really hurt and I just want to let it heal right. I thought I would get tired fast today after5-6 days off doing cardio. I did 90 minutes and was ready to do some more but my girlfriend was grungry. Yes " grungry" It's a word I made up for her because when she gets really hungry, she gets grumpy if we don't get her food. So, grumpy + hungry = GRUNGRY !!!
I hope you are all staying strong and making good choices.
I know that it is so hard to get up the energy to workout sometimes, but. Every time, I feel better for going - mentally & physically.
