Talk about sick...

Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Well I would like to say that I am totally better after coming off two weeks of ridiculous illness, but I still live each day with a cough that doesn't go away, and headaches that never end. sighs.

I spent two weeks ill.. one week with a viral infection turned into flu turned into upper respitory infection. Lost a full week of work from this mess. I am still feeling like I could nap daily and would love for this persistant cough (down to mornings and evenings) to be gone. Oh and the headaches.. Really tired of those.

I need to get back to the gym now that the worst of the crud is over with and get back into diet mode. I spent 2 plus weeks with the icky bottom end illness effects as well. Still suffering somewhat from that.. My poor tookus.. ouch.. I had lost a ton of weight from being ill and seem to have put it right back on again... I told my daughter today that I can't believe how I look right now.. Seems to me I look that much bigger and then some ... What the heck? sighs..

Maybe it's because I am switching over into summer clothes.. shorts not as flattering on my short legs? Short legs look thinner in jeans or work pants? hmm.. Not sure..but ugh.. and to top it off I went bathing suit shopping which is just a miserable ordeal.. I did have fun with the kids at the beach though..

Time to go have a glass of water.. maybe it's salt retention...grins.. One can wish...

Nice to be back.. I will slowly find my groove again.. time to be healthy once more!!

Ugh. Being sick sucks. Get healthy and then get back to it!

How horrible, GF. It sounds like you got one of those super viruses.

I hate to shop for bathing suits. I tend to look for the ones like they had in 1900 where you were wearing long johns and everything was covered. Of course I could still look bad in those. LOL. Bathing suits are the most unforgiving piece of clothing there is. Hate them.
