Back Into The Swing At Home

Monday, April 16, 2012

We are back to our usual routine. Back from Florida and I'm returned to the gym and the classes I love. I realized how much I missed those classes immediately upon return to the gym. It's also great to realize how many good friends I've made there. They all wanted to hear about the trip and I was interested to know what I missed while I was gone. There are some really truly neat ladies at my gym. I'm just thrilled to have been able to get to know them.

Back to the grocery store as well to stock up on the pantry items that were hit hard while we were gone. It appears DH subsisted on oatmeal and eggs from what I can tell. That and the remaining ham left over from before we left. Poor man.

I also picked quite a few of the calle lilies growing in the backyard to place in pitchers around the house. I just love this time of year and my calle lilies. Soon my blue irises will also be blooming - another Spring favorite of mine.

The kids return to school in the AM and I'm back to work. It was surely great to have a bit of downtime away from the usual hustle and bustle. Lazing on the beach is not a bad way to spend a week!

I've decided to host another facial party at my home - this time on the 26th (another Thurs night) and Amy (the awesome esthetician) has agreed to join me once again. She really is amazing!

So it seems like we're right back in the saddle again - as the saying goes - back to the familiarity of home and the usual routines.

It feels good.

Wishing you all a great week - and hoping that we can all stay on track and keep those healthy lifestyles going!
