Caffeine Withdraws!

Sunday, April 15, 2012

So far so good in the world of no pop! I'm getting some headaches from the caffeine withdraws but I keep telling myself it'll be worth it in the end. I even drank two full glasses of water today and anyone who knows me knows that it is a miracle that I drank it without adding any kind of flavoring to it!

I'm going to be trying my best from here on out to drink more and more water and less and less other things. Right now I am drinking kool-aid and other flavored stuff to get away from the pop and I know it is no better for me! Baby steps, I suppose!

I also wanted to share a quote that kind of made me smile today:

β€œIt is never too late to be what you might have been.” – George Eliot

This quote rings so true for all of us on this long journey to weight loss. While we made bad decisions in our lives or things happened to use that caused us to gain weight and keep it on, it is NEVER too late to be the person we might have been! 2012 is going to be MY YEAR! I am SO READY to be the person I know I am meant to be! I am not only going to transform my outside, but my inside too. I know when I loose weight, I'll gain more confidence, but I'll be working on it just as hard as I am loosing weight!

To end my little blog, I just want to add how happy it made me tonight when spinning the spark wheel. When I got finished, an add popped up that gave me a free one week pass to try out curves. I was ALWAYS curious how good curves was and now I'll get to find out myself! I am so very excited! =) Good luck to all my fellow sparkers out there and just know, YOU ARE WORTH IT AND YOU CAN DO IT!

Suzi - It is SO hard! I've tried it more than a few times and have fallen off the turnip truck more than I can count. But I know I am worth it and if I want to be healthy in twenty years, this is a step in the right direction! Thanks for the encouragement!

e - Thank you! =) I'm going to do it this time... no matter how hard it is! Thanks for the continuous encouragement!

Sari_Girl - I LOVE sugar free Kool Aid! I think without it, I wouldn't be as far as I am now with the goal (even if its just a few days!) And I agree. I see people that are miserable with them selves because they have no self-confidence, even without all the weight. That is why I'm determined to be the best I can be, both physically and mentally! Thanks for the constant encouragement, you're awesome!

    Good job!

I love Sugar Free Kool Aid. It tastes so much like the real thing that I'm convinced when I taste it that it will give me a headache like the real stuff does!

It's great idea to work on your inside WHILE working on the outside. I've heard of people losing weight and STILL being unhappy because they forgot to change the inside, too!
