Time to Get Re-Real!

Since my 4/2/12 blog of confession and commitment, I've lost, gained, lost and regained the same 2 pounds. Major nosedive with Easter and coming off my n0-sweets-during-Lenten-season fast. I enjoyed chocolates and a few after-dinner desserts with the pound cake I made for Easter lunch (should have sent it home with family members).
This week I celebrated my birthday with a wonderful meal at my husband's and my favorite local restaurant - to the tune of a 1200 calorie dinner!
So-o-o-o, back on the wagon! Got to re-re-lose those 2 lbs and find those 2 some company!
One of my shortcomings is not having healthy lunch fixings available during the week. I end up hungry without a plan and snack on calorie laden foods with poor nutritional value. What do you do for lunch? I need some variety in my mid-day meal!
I AM happy with my exercising. I'm back to the point in the 5k training where I had to drop out due to injuries last month, and I've increased my strength training regimen considerably. There's my silver lining!
To my Winston-Salem Spark Team: my husband and I took a lovely walk in Reynolda Gardens this afternoon. Maybe we can meet there soon...?
