So Frustrating

Sunday, April 15, 2012

Well all i know is i cant wait to call my dr in the morning because off and on for a long time now i get this tingly numbness in my right hand mainly the pinky and the 1 right next to it and it goes to my wrist, but now the last 2 weeks its been constant and has not went away and its interrferring with my normal daily things.its even hard to change my lil ones diaper and even get dressed after a shower or jsut in the mornings cuz ive also lost probably 3/4 of the strength in them 2 fingers so its almost like they arent even there.ive been told a few scary reasons and am not going to lie..im scared to know whats wrong. im hoping its just a pinched nerve and they can fix it,but the other things ive been told SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!!

I am sorry to hear that it is damaged. But there is always a chance if you see a surgeon that it could be fixed, right? It wouldn't hurt to find out what he has to say about it. There are quite a few prescriptions out there that help alleviate this problem. I take some for the nerve damage in my spine that affects my arms and legs. I know that their are some homeopathic remedies out there too that can help.

I hope you find some answers and some relief.

well i got to the dr and he said the main nerve in my right arm is pinched right below the elbow, and being the tingly and numbness and so on started couple yrs ago,he said thats probably how long it started and now since its been so long its prly damaged mynerve. so he told me i could try something at home..he said i could keep a blanket/towel wrapped around it to keep it strait at night and during the day but mainly at night and if it dont help then to go back and he will send me to a surgeon. well its not getting better, matter of fact getting worse now the right 2 fingers are basically useless, cnt really use them at all.

I had something similar, was carpal tunnel. I had the surgery. It was the easiest thing ever. I've had both sides done. The small incision horizontal was the easiest one. Quick recovery. Good luck!

sounds like it may be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome- there are things that they can do that will fix it without surgery.
Good Luck - I hope it is a minor issue that can be resolved easily.
