2 Calm days in a row....

Saturday, April 14, 2012

Today was a beautiful wind and bright warm sunshine :)

We spent most of today fixing the was a way bigger job than we thought it would be...ended up having to take the rad off and a bunch of other stuff just to get the steel line off and then finally got the new one in place and then everything else put back together..finished around 5pm...

I quadded the pairs this morning and checked cows to calve while hubby worked on the tractor..I cut twine on the shredder and burned garbage and twine..then I hoed some of the shelter belt trees in between helping with the tractor...then helped with the night chores and brought the herd to calve into the corral. We had one calf today so far...

When I came in for a coffee break I worked at cleaning out my e-mails in my yahoo account..I keep way too much stuff and then never look at it again!! So I was deleting from my inbox and files :) The computer feels lighter already.... haha.

We watched a little bit of playoff hockey and now I'm catching up on some sparkin' I was tracking my food and then I tracked on the Spring 5% challenge..this week is exercise minutes and freggies...

I'm really tired tonight..I ended up not going to bed early last night and took the midnight check...maybe I'll get to bed earlier tonight...

Thanks for dropping by and keep on Sparkin'

HaHa! Your calm day would be my extremely busy and now I'm ready to pass out without any dinner day. In fact, I don't even think I could make it through your day. I'm sure you must burn a 1000 calories a day easy.
Well, I think I'll go wash the dog, at least that's me doing something.
