Day 347: Changing Expectations

Since last SATURDAY, I have gone to the gym 5 times and walked for an hour. My calories have been good. Today's weigh in? 1.1lb loss. My expectation was more but it shouldn't have been. I'm probably building muscle and 1.1lbs is not shabby! I'm really trying to stay positive. Today will be a good day! More good healthy food and some physicial activity in the warm sun. It's supposed to be in the low 70s today!

    Sometimes it is difficult to keep that optimistic outlook, and I have been there recently, but I love that you are looking forward to more activity in the sunshine (wish it wasn't snowing here...) and lots of fun healthful foods.     Good for you for sticking to your plan!

    I'll bet you're right about the muscle gain and you DID have a loss which is a positive thing. Remember that this is a lifestyle change, so patience is a must-have thing!
