The past couple of months...

have been rather eventful. My hubby and I both started working at the beginning of February. Since he took a cut in pay to work a local job instead of traveling out of state I need to work to help out. We bought a car last month to replace the one that my oldest daughter totaled on the day after Christmas. My chorus also won the coveted Most Improved award at our regional competition last month on the same weekend that we got my car. I've even, finally, been able to start running again. Overall things are looking way up for us!!!

The only downside has been that I've gained about 5 lbs that took me outside my maintenance range. Most likely it's because I haven't been getting enough sleep because I usually work late (11:30pm), get up at 4:30 am to see my hubby off to work (he drives over an hour to get there), then go back to bed for another 3 hours or so of sleep. Thankfully, this won't be the case beginning next week! He and our oldest daughter (who works in the same "nearby" town) are renting a trailer a few miles from his jobsite and he'll be crashing there on Monday-Wednesday nights (he usually works 4 ten hour days per week). That will cut his expenses in half and we'll both get more rest.

Anyway, that's what's been going on in my world lately. Hopefully, once we've gotten settled into a better routine, I'll start up my monthly goals lists again and really get back to rocking along.

Be blessed!

Cyndi - she really won't be seeing all that much less of me, because I usually get home after she's gone to work and am asleep by the time she gets home. We really only see each other about 45 minutes every morning as I'm staggering about, getting ready for work. I think my staying "up there" during the week will improve our time together, because I'll actually be more well-rested from not driving so much. Plus, the fact I've started running with her these last couple of weeks gives us a bit more "together time," even though we don't keep the same pace.

Sounds like things are really looking up. WOOHOO! Glad things are going better now, even though you'll see less of your husband. I know that once you get a good schedule going again you'll quickly get back to maintenance.

Now that's a schedule. You seem to be maintaining very well though.

Hope everything continues to go well for you. Have a great day.
