I am on weight watchers for about 2 months and a half now. I'm doing pretty well, I love it, I eat well and I don't feel deprived. Last month I decide to add exercices to my program, I walked for a month and after decided to add Chalean Extreme witch I love! I did it for a little bit more than one week, feeling better and better after each session.
THEN, I had a very bad gallbladder attack (I wrote a blog about it). I decided to continue my Chalean Extreme after that since it was the first time I have an attack that bad (I use to have somes before, but they all end by itselfs after 2-3 hours of pain) and the waiting list for the surgery is almost 6 to 12 months. But least week, I had another one. I went to the ER again and they have to give me morphine. They want to remove my gallbladder right away, but it was saturday night, I'm a stay-at-home mom with a 7 months boy... I need to find someone to babysit him and help me the days after the surgery. They gave me sometime to organize everything. I will have my surgery sometime before they end of the month.
So now I'm very stress out! I'm breasfeeding and I don't know all the implication of a surgery. I don't know if I will be able to feed my son after?? Also, because I can't eat normally right know, I'm worried about my weight loss and my breastfeeding. I lose a lot weight right now (I can't eat fat and sugar AT ALL). Loosing weight too fast when you breasfeed it is not good... I read that the fat release toxins in the milk if it goes too fast. I don't know what to do.
So I stop my fitness program to keep my energy for my milk supplies. I figured that if I don't try to spend energy, most of it will go to the milk. I took 500 calories to breasfeed each day... But it's just a hypothesis I made... Also, I increase my fiber to try too eliminate more, I also figured that it will help to release toxins somewhere else then in my milk... another hypothesis. It's hard because I can't find goods references about that. I contacted I breasfeeding consultant, and I'm waiting for an answer... I also try to contact my doctor...
But on a positive side, because I have a lot time now, I decided to look at some pictures we took and I saw me at last christmas and me 25 pounds less this Easter... wow! I AM SO PROUND! Look at this!
Have a good day everyone!
