Getting My Stride Back!

I have started running again in the past couple weeks..before this my last run was on NewYears Day, so it had been quite some time. After a few difficult runs (lots of huffing and puffing) I feel like I have found my groove again and I am doing research and preparations to run a 10K, then a Half Marathon and finally a Full Marathon (preferably on the Great Wall of China or some other cool location).

Right now its mostly thoughts of these runs really but once we get moved out to Newfoundland and I find us a place to live I am going to get more serious about my planning. Apparently they have a Running Group in the community we will be living in that gets to be 200-strong in the summer months so I am sure that some of these runners will be good motivators for me.

Still struggling a bit with portion control and eating when i am not hungry but I think my newly rekindled Love Affair with Running will put that to rest cuz I have discovered it is quite hard to run at a good clip when you have consumed a belly and a hlaf of junk just the night before..haha. Alas I seem to learn best the hard way!
