Counting points

Saturday, April 07, 2012

So I started weight watchers about 3 weeks ago because I need to renew my BP pills and cant do that without a new check up. In the last year I was supposed to lose weight, exercise and actually make progress on my own. I have done none of that the way I was supposed to because no one is holding me accountable, not even me. So I went and did something I was resistant to because why should I pay money for something I already know how to do. Apparently it is working because I did go down 5 pounds the first week, up one the second due to blowing all my daily and weekly points and now this week I weigh in on Monday and am not sure where I am but I am feeling good. I have enough points to finish tomorrow and hopefully have some left over before starting the new week. I also took a 3 mile walk today with the daughter and damn if I am not actually feeling pretty good. I do admit I needed a nap after that walk, but I woke up feeling refreshed and comfortable in my skin. A feeling I have not been having before this new weight loss time.
I am hoping that the 3 months I am signed up for do the trick and I don't give it up early or go points crazy and flip out on what I can and can't eat.
I was a big big addict to fast food and that has been the number one hardest thing to give up, I struggle with it a few days a week, and lets face it, subway is no Hardees (or Carl's Jr depending on where you are)!
So here is to another week of hopefully a loss because I sure have been trying and to taking it easy on the chocolate bunny and jelly beans.
