Spring Break - Day Eight - Herb Garden

Today I did a workout on the elliptical to start, thirty minutes. This makes three days in a row! I have decided my ankle will swell no matter what I do, so I may as well do what I want!
This afternoon I cut back the herbs in the herb garden. This is one of my favorite tasks. The smell of the lavender, rosemary and sage when I cut them is wonderful! Actually, my rosemary usually dies each winter and I buy new in the spring. But this winter was so mild, even my rosemary survived. The chives and oregano are already looking great! I love having fresh herbs to use in my cooking. I will buy some parsley and basil when the weather warms up. It has been unusually warm this spring, but we had a freeze warning last night, so still too early for these herbs.

    Fantastic! Well done! I did 60 min on the elliptical today as well. Its the easist thing besides a water workout on the joints.. Have you ever considered water jogging? You take a flotation belt and go to the deep end of the pool and do jogging jumping jacks sit ups etc. A great workout, no problem with bad ankles!
    I envy you having a herb garden, how wonderful! I live in a dark north facing apartment that get no light what so ever so no growing anything..
