April WK 1

I have had a horrible week. There was something going on every day this week either work or family related.

1. Cardio 5X/wk. (30-50min.) Running M/W/F Turbo Jam T/TH - I am going to try my running for one more week. If my hip starts to sieze up again I am going to forgo the running and stick with just my Turbo Jam.
BIG FAT FAIL - got in the bare minimum of cardio with very little effort involved. One day of a walk at lunch and then two days of raking leaves in the back yard.

2. ST - Going to stick with my Turbo Jam videos; hopefully they will keep me motivated enough to actually want to do it.
Sorry team, this one is going to gain me an X. I didn't get any ST in this week.

3. Plan weekly meals and stick with them.
This is the one area that I was actually able to do. The only one that got changed was Wednesday. We ended up leaving for Easter at my parents place a day early and had to use up the meat planned for Thursday on Wednesday instead. Otherwise, we stuck with the plan perfectly.

4. Eat 3-5 servings of freggies a day. Fit in more during the day as snacks.
This I will take a pass/fail. I didn't get in 5, but I got in 3 most days focussing on snack especially.

Overall, this week was a fail. I found it really hard to get the motivation to do much of anything. Sleep was sporadic at best and work was stressful. By the time the kiddos got to bed 8-8:30 working out was not any where close to the top of my priority list. I am really looking forward to this next week. Love Easter Break!
Great plans for next week.

Good for you working in your cardio. Getting busy happens, but you stuck with your eating plan (awesome!) and have a break next week, so that should help! Enjoy it emoticon
