And then I messed up

Yesterday, during the day, I ate healthy and smart. I went to the gym for an hour of Strive( like circuit training). I ate a healthy dinner. And then I messed up. Around 7:30, my daughter asked me to watch movies with her. Two bags of microwave popcorn, a bag of animal crackers,6 servings of Goldfish and 5 Snickers eggs later the movies were over. What had I done? I was angry with myself! It's a new day today. I WILL do better today and tomorrow!

    You will definitely do better. For the future, you might think about how you can better control snacking during movies - such as only bringing one item, one serving worth, or making a point to have a water container and drink each time you've taken a bit.

    Don't beat yourself up over this. I have done the same thing many times over and it does no good for your self esteem or your motivation. You didn't gain your weight overnight and it won't come off overnight. Remember that Rome wasn't built in a day and you can't get the fabulous figure you want in a day either. Just dust yourself off and start over. Try to keep the mindset that I only need to lose one more pound and it should make your weight loss go easier. Take care
