My weight is a number

So, tonight was my weigh-in. I thought maybe I would have a loss. I would take any amount as long as it was a loss. I thought that since I had added jogging intervals, that would have increased my chances for a loss. Not this week...I had a 1/4 lb gain. But, that is ok. I have come a VERY long way. That would have bothered me in the past and I might have gotten discouraged. BUT, not tonight! I just told the lady sitting beside me that I was ok. The weight is just a number. It DOES NOT define who I am. So, after my meeting, I had my "free" dinner ~ what I wanted (Wendy's chicken and small fries) and after logging on nutrition page only went over calories for the day by about 60 calories...not too bad. I also did 55 minutes on the treadmill. So, I am not discouraged ~ I am determined to NOT give up. Weight is just a number ~ it doesn't define who the person is.
Be encouraged and determined ~ Be patient. It is all good and we will get there!
