I mean that both literally & figuratively! We're expecting severe thunderstorms here in central MO tonight and tomorrow, I think. Of course, MO weather being what it is, that is subject to change any minute emoticon
Anyway, I will spare the details, but I had a crazy night out with an old friend I hadn't seen in three years and somehow twisted my ankle worse than I ever had before. It was slightly swollen, but now its just bruised and sore...Phooey! I suppose I stepped in a hole and my weak ankle bent on me. That happens pretty often, so I have to be careful, but sometimes I lapse emoticon
Then, I walked 5 miles (the next day) to get home because I didn't have my car. I thought it was okay because the more I walked, the less my ankle hurt. Now, I'm not so sure. I haven't done any cardio since the long walk because it hurts to move it much. I did do my normal ST today, but I shouldn't have done the exercises that involved standing on one foot, in retrospect. Until my ankle feels better, I guess I'm going all chair exercises. That's okay; I still think its fantastic that SP has cardio & ST exercises for every muscle group that can be done from a chair! I'm just a little discouraged at my clumsy self, but I'm on track anyhow. There's a Beatles song for how I feel...Obladee, Obladah, la-la-la-la-la, life goes on emoticon
