30 Day Shred : Day 11

Day 11 Completed!

You may notice that I actually had a 4 day rest period. I was under the weather and couldn't eat anything let alone keep it down. I also barely got out of bed.

I felt better yesterday, but still laid low just in case.

Today I went full steam ahead, started eating again and completed both workouts.

Level 2 is definitely rougher than Level 1. I made it through the entire workout, but definitely did less repetitions than the gang and followed Anita at the lower level the entire time. I noticed the last set of plank twists that were intended for my abs were felt more in my arms and shoulders. While my upper body strength has increased slightly i still have a loooong way to go :) I hope that in the next 9 days I will be able to push myself to do more on this level.

During my second workout on the promenade I included the extra lap run around the track with my walk and did it with ease. I think I may be ready to add another 1/2 a lap to the run during my walk.

Im in no rush to push myself too far, since i have no health insurance and would rather take it slow and steady then get hurt and take myself out of the running :)
