I Was A Bad Girl Today!

Today was my hubby's birthday. I made all his favorites. Grilled Steak and Shrimp, Cooked Cabbage and Butter Beans with bacon in them, Corn on the Cob and the kicker Blackberry Cobbler. So yes I went over on my calories and on my sodium today. Will work out more intense and for longer times all week to make up for this. Oh and I had a soda also.
I use to drink at least 6 pepsi's a day before I started dieting, today was the first one I've had in a long time and honestly it taste nasty to me.

    I completely know what you mean about the taste of soda. I kicked it many many years ago, but about 6 months in I had taken a sip of my DDa's soda just to wet my mouth and ewwwww. Could not believe how syrupy it tasted. I've only had one flat soda since (we were out of bottled water and the tap in the place was horrid).

    Don't go too overboard trying to burn the extra calories. You can also adjust other meals through the weak a little lower to find the balance.

    Well we have to celebrate our hubby's birthday and it only comes once a year... so tomorrow is a new day and you'll get back into the swing of things.

    I totally understand, there was a birthday in our family and I went off track, but I don't beat myself up like I use to, I just got back on track. I have to remember how many good days I have. Sending positive vibes.
