I'm a runner!?!?!

Well not fully...but I've finished week 1 of C25K and I'm in LOVE!!! I can't believe how different this whole life shift is for me. I've gone from the girl that would wish the fat away and hated exercise, sweating and the GYM! Running? Yeah that's what I do from the car to the bathroom everyday after my commute home from work lol.. Now I'm committing to a running program...AND....wait for it....LOVE IT!!!! I can't wait to actually run for distance and feel like a real runner...BUT it's a start and I'm so proud of myself. I totally want to start week 2 tomorrow lol...but I will not for fear of pushing the limit and risking injury. I need my body especially since I have sensitive knees, hips and lower back...but my inserts seem to be giving me the support I need, and I feel great. YAY!

    Congrats on finishing week one! I just started this week as well. I'll finish week one on Saturday. I think you are doing better than I am. I may have to do week one twice. :) But I'll get there. I look forward to seeing your progress. :)

    AWESOME POST! Keep up the good work. I agree, it's definitely very wise to listen to your body and not push the river. Give your self time to grow and you'll be out there runnin' the long haul in no time! :)
