Back In The Saddle Again

I'm three weeks into a healthy lifestyle. I have all the keys and tools right in front of me. It's up to me to not get discouraged and keep pushing forward. I have lost 30-40lbs at least three times in the last five years if not more. So, I'm def capable of meeting my goal. It just frustrated me to have 25-30lbs to loose before I get back to where I was. If I could just hang on through the rough spots and maintain what I have lost. I'm just trying to remember moderation and not deprive myself. It's sad that I strayed away from spark and now that I am back only a few of my sparkfriends are still active. I'm going to stay positive and keep pushing forward. This healthy girl wants out of this fat suit and freed from the prison of emotional eating.

    Great job and attitude you have!
    Just STAY in with Spark. No sense straying. It's your new Way of Life. (That's how I feel anyway.) I've been here almost 6 years and have SLOWLY lost between 15 and 20 pounds. I know if I had stopped tracking food and exercise I probably would have gained that much instead of lost.

    Welcome back! You can do it. In the military our motto was "Can Do". Most of any thing we do is a mind set. I've been a heart patient since 1985 and when I learned that I was a type II diabetic my "mind set" automatically set into researching the disease. Learned that Type II can be suppressed. Went from an A1c of 7.2 down to a 5.3. Although I was not considered obese, I was over weight and dropped my body fat down from 25% to 11% as of Saturday.
