The Daily Word for today was very appropriate, very encouraging, for me, today.

"Great discoveries have been made by persons who kept trying after their initial efforts failed. They proved failure can be turned into success by just one more try.

No matter how difficult a problem may appear, I do not become discouraged. I am confident and persistent. I know I do not work alone. All things are possible with God, and the spirit of God is within me.

If I have fallen, I am lifted up. If I am lost, the spirit of God within me illumines my mind and shows me the path. I turn within and find new insight, strength and determination. I persist and watch as seeming failure turns into success."

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.--Galatians 6:9

Timing with the Bibical quote especially was good because I was not going to stay in bed all day today. I am out there planting beans and beets in my raised bed. I'm up and down and there is a chair nearby, and I can actually sit for some of it, so that's all good... I'm not being on my feet too much. But I'm getting it done.

Sue, I truly admire your Persistence in not letting health issues get you down. You have a healthy and positive attitude that I like. I also get daily word but I have to confess I don't always read it every day but in a little while I will catch up with it. You are a "Fighter" and will never give up and that's a good trait to have. Wishing you a good day today and keep thinking positive and being persistent.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

    Isaiah 40:30-31

just don't go running any marathons, yet - the word WAIT is very important, too - it allows for time of healing and recovery. Patience - never pray for patience, simply practice it as needed. (((hugs))) and prayers!
