Day 16

Yesterday I had a full day of bad foods so no wonder I feel icky today. I'm back on a very good schedule, but there is a kick-back from yesterday. Even when I know that eating unhealthy foods is like choosing a toxin and yesterday started with circumstances that I didn't exactly control. But I could have, if I had planned a lot better. I spent the night with friends 2 hours away. Usually when I do that I take my food with me. Protein shakes, salads, snacks, and something for us all to have for dinner. That way I can be sure that I am eating right all day. This time I just needed to get away. So I did. With no planning or thought of what I actually needed. The result was ... shall we say.. less than desirable. McDonald's, bologna, skillet type breakfast... you get the carb loaded, sodium high, fat laden picture, I'm sure.

Today my poor body is still trying to process all that garbage. The protein shake I made for breakfast and big stirfry for lunch were much better. So I am back on track and hope I can remember to plan next time!
