Challenge Week 4

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

Well, I have successfully made it to challenge week four. I am on track to finish strong and hopefully will see a little progress on the scale. I have cleaned my eating up quite significantly in the last few weeks, and I feel so much better. Hubby and I have started sitting down on Sunday and making a menu for the week and then grocery shopping according to that. It makes such a difference. We are trying all different types of dishes and trying new foods. My favorite place to shop is a fresh produce market called Easy Way or the Whole Foods grocery store. Whole Foods can get expensive if I'm not careful so that is a treat when we go there.

I feel more commitment right now then I have had in a long time. I am very motivated to change our eating lifestyle. I truly believe it comes from both of us being committed to this. Hubby and I have always had a long distance relationship. We have never lived together in the 5 years we have been together, until the beginning of this year. We are just so incredibly thankful we are together after years of only seeing each other every weekend or every other weekend. I was a little worried about us being together all the time, but it is wonderful. He likes to try new foods and isn't just your 'meat and potatoes' kind of guy. His support is amazing and I can only hope I am supporting him as much as he supports me.

Here's to week 4 and all the challenges and victories it will hold! emoticon and on to hopefully getting a shiny new emoticon for my spark page!
