Who's a size 14? THIS GIRL!!!

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

Ok so all the whining about the weight not falling off and not seeing much change in my body blah blah blah has finally appeared before my eyes! I blogged that my pants fell down at work and now I can pull on every pair of jeans I own with out unbuttoning...I was debating buying a belt or just getting a few new pairs of pants. Yesterday after the gym (I'm on spring break this week) Hubz and I decided to kill a little time before going home. We ended up at goodwill...yep I'm a thrift shop junkie...anyway I went straight to "my" rack...you know the one I've been shopping at for years...the one little rack that has the plus size jeans...and I'm combing through them and everything is too big. So I very nervously make my way to the "other" racks and I start to look through and after about the millionth pair of size 6 jeans I feel like I'm getting sad....now I know I'm not going to find anything to fit. I look and look...and I find 1 pair of gap jeans size 14 and I grab them thinking I just want to see...then I found a pair of brand new with tags old navy (my 2nd favorite non thrift store) size 14 they look small but I'm going to try them anyway...and then I found a pair of jeans that were a 34x32...I just measured my waist yesterday and it's a 36...so I know these aren't going to fit but I want to see how close.
I go into the dressing room with my 3 jeans and I try on the pair I know isn't going to fit...and to my surprise they ALMOST did...I mean like prob. in a week or two close. So I'm gearing up for disapointment and try the gap pair on...and OMG they fit...and I didn't have to do that jumpy wiggly dance to get them up... I'm talking pulled them straight on and buttoned....and no Muffin top!!! So comfy...So now the Old Navy's are up and I'm kind of nervous because they look kind of small. Pull them right up and button O-M-Freaking-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!! I go out and ask Hubz if they look to tight (who am I kidding, he's biased) so there's this cute girl at the rack right by us and I ask her if they look too tight...and she's like no, they look great on you! And you know what...I totally AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing that makes me so excited about this is knowing I can go to Old Navy now and buy smaller jeans!!! Oh and the other thing I noticed at the gym yesterday is my workout pants are getting looser and baggy in the legs....I am so freaking excited about this. I can't remember the last time I wore a 14...I think it could have been right before I got pregnant with my oldest who will be 10 this year. Big things are coming my way...I can feel it!
