30 Day Shred: Day 8

Day 8 Completed!
On my 2 days off this weekend I went to visit relatives. While i didn't necessarily do a specific traditional workout, I definitely got a workout from helping with chores and chasing around my little nephew. : )
My nutrition over the weekend was so so. I ate more unhealthy food than usual, but we celebrated with a Carvel cake...who can resist those crunchies?!!! Well, I can't..... but in hindsight i guess i could have eaten less of the cake :)
All in all, i didn't gain any weight which made me happy.
In regards to the actual 30 day shred, I completed day 8 no problems. I bought 5 lb weights this past wkend and added them for some, not all, of the strength training and hope that i will be able to add to more. I definitely needed the extra weights since i feel it enhanced my work out.
I won't be walking today since I made it a spring cleaning day and have a list literally the length of my door frame to complete.
Looking forward to Day 9 of the Shred!
