Not giving up

Monday, March 26, 2012

Well i have been extrememly busy with moving,dr appts for the kids and my youngest had tubes in last week and then hes cutting teeth(4 at the same time) 1 has broke through, another is about to, and the other 2 are there but thats it. They haven't broke though yet but the gums are swollen and you can see where the tooth is. been a long couple weeks and just havent been working out regularly. But i have been watching what i heat and still staying active with moving and everything. But i did get a quick workout done just now. i got the BIGGEST LOSER POWER WALK DVD from Netflix to try it and i must say i only did 1 mile but it was good. Theres 4 miles and each miles gets more intense. I think i might just have to buy it. Just can't wait to be able to get back into things FULL SWING but until then im still trying to stay motivated and active!!!

Hang in there! Even if you are only accomplishing 10 minutes at a time, it is still a successful 10 minutes. You got it going already by trying to watch what you eat. Having little ones makes life a bit more complicated especially when they are not at their best. I had to walk to my son's school this morning to pick him up and we had to walk home because he wasn't feeling well. Just an example of how 10 minutes can add up. emoticon

Hope the tubes went is with out a hitch and he has no issues in the future. That is something I have never gone though but both of mine had their tonsils and adenoids removed.

Ah, and we have in common the BL Power Walk, I only truefully like the first mile on it and that is the only one I do. I try to do it at least once a week along with my other walking because as Bob puts it, it has a "great bun burn" or something along those lines. The second mile led by Simon and the blond girl to me was awful so I haven't even tried the remaining miles.

All the same - hang in there! Giving up is not an option and if life requires you take baby steps on a daily basis then that is what you can do. Remember all of it counts. The scale isn't the only measurement to your successes!

    Best wishes!!
