I promised you that I would do a blog today to explain what I mean when I talk about wearing my head weights, and why, but I must apologize because I didn't keep my promise. I fell asleep before the video was finished downloading.
As an adult, I started going to a chiropractor, at least ten years ago because of ongoing back pain. After taking xrays, he suggested I wear head weights because, instead of my neck curving forward, as it's suppose to, it is actually more straight and the spaces between my discs getting narrower. (My Mom told me that when I was a baby in a walker, fell down a long flight of stairs, but back then, if there were no broken bones and the person was alive and breathing, then everything was alright. Unbeknownst to my parents, I had actually injured my neck) so I followed my chiropractor's suggestion, and wore the head weights, but only on occasion and quit altogether in a very SHORT amount of time.
Well now we are up to this passed year. Since July or maybe August, my right wrist was starting to hurt me so after approximately three months of the pain progressively getting worse, I FINALLY went to see my PC. I thought maybe I had fallen on it but didn't remember so he sent me for xrays. He called me within a matter of a couple of hours to let me know there were no breaks or sprains and that I had developed arthritis. Believe me when I say that the pain was getting so severe that I was having difficulty brushing my teeth, applying my eye make-up and even feeding myself. The pain had gotten so extreme that it would keep me awake, most nights and when I did fall asleep it would wake me.
After telling my chiropractor of the problem, he asked me if I'd been wearing my head weights so I told him I had not worn them in several years. He once again suggested I wear them and firmly believed I would see results.
NOW GO WATCH THE VIDEO AND FINISH READING THE REST OF THIS AFTERWARDS.
Since I started this therapy, approximately 5 or 6 weeks ago, I have been diligently wearing them twice a day for 20 minute intervals, and am now back to seeing my chiropractor once a week. The week before last, I thought my wrist wasn't feeling quite as tender and painful as it had been. LAST week I felt like it was slowly getting better and so by the end of the week it had been showing gradual, daily improvements. I can once again use my hand ALMOST pain-free. I am THRILLED with what has been happening, and attribute it to my therapy. I believe I will ALWAYS need to wear these head weights but it certainly is well worth it.
Thanks for taking the time to read, watch & comment on my vlog.
As always, I send you peace, love & sunshine,
