This weekend was my daughter's Christening day.
As you can imagine, I was quite nervous about it. She's so young and tiny, I was afraid of her being in the church full of people for a whole hour and then at my mum's place for the entire day, I thought she was going to cry all day long. But, it went good, she was relaxed at church, cried only at my mum's, and everything went pretty well.
However...I didn't focus on my goals this weekend.
We had grilled food for lunch. The good thing is that there were 6 kinds of salads so I filled my plate with those first, and took some meat and potatoes. I didn't overeat during lunch, and I ate lots of fresh veggies, so that's great.
And then came the cakes...My favorite ones..I decided to eat only 1 piece for the entire day, but ended up eating 2 pieces of raspberry cake and 1 vanilla cake. So, basically I went way over my kcal limit with the other 2 pieces. Plus, I skipped my walk yesterday.
Losing 2.9 pounds in Week 1 of the Spring Challenge, I don't want to gain them back this week. What's done is done.. Now, I have to figure out how to burn those extra calories from yesterday and plan some healthy meals. I have only 5 days till the next weigh-in and I better make them count!
