In my spiritual beliefs, we celebrate the Spring equinox, which falls any where between March 20th & 22nd. This year it happened to be on the 20th. Ostara, believed to be named after the Germanic Goddess, Eostara, is a celebration of birth & rebirth. It's the time when the earth is being reborn from the USUALLY long, cold, dark days of winter. The Spring equinox is the day when there is equal balance of dark & light. Days are now getting longer, buds may be starting to form on the trees and flowers may be starting to push through the earth. It's a joyous time and a time we may want to start new projects, or pick-up a project we may have put aside for the winter. I'm sorry for rambling on, but I get such a wonderful lift & boost to my spirits with this holiday.

Anyway, my son Charlie & his kids were over for this incredibly, AWESOME Ostara celebration. Dinner was a FANTASTIC meal of pot roast, fresh green beans & carrots with mashed potatoes, but the biggest hits of the party were the "NO" buttons I gave to each one of them, including Charlie. Check out the video. Oh, BTW, although I have had some, I have NOT over done it with the candy, either. Woo hoo!

Oh, I almost forgot, one of the other surprises for us today was that after hiding the eggs, the bunny stuck around to say "Hi", as you can see from the couple of pictures below.

I'm sorry, you really can't see him in the picture above. If you look under the swing, you can barely see him. He's almost in direct line of the pink egg.

Thanks for taking the time to read, watch & comment on my blog.

May peace, love & sunshine fill your hearts every day of your lives.
