It's official...

I think it's time to make it official. Well at least official at SparkPeople. Lord knows I've been lurking around for long enough now, reading blogs and checking out Sparkpages in the hope to feel a sudden rush of inspiration.

So here it is! Official and all...

Don't worry by 'win it' I don't mean I'm here to compete with anyone else then myself. I've been fighting this battle for so long and I've never really felt confident that I would win it. Something has changed. I am sick and tired of playing the role of victim. I want to be the leading lady and quit daydreaming about how it could be if only....

If only!?!?!? Haven't we all kid ourselves with that sentence over and over again? I know I have. I've been really good at making plans but horrible at sticking to them. So that's it. I'm done with the planning. I know everything I'll ever need to know about loosing weight. Now is the time to just get moving.

I've been at it more or less since just before Christmas and so far I'm happy to report that I'm winning the battle. I've lost 35 pounds so far and I'm feeling much better about myself. I'm trying to ignore the fact that I still have more then 100 pound to go and focus on how far I've come so far. Every pound gone is one I'll never see again!

So game on fat! I'll be whipping your butt this time!
