Definitely Stopping the Weighing Once a Week

Friday, March 23, 2012

It has been a week since my last update. It has been a crazy week since going back to work from Spring Break.

Put on another pound this week with the weighing once a week thing. So out the window it goes. When I am trying to loose, I guess I need more reinforcement to ensure I am staying on track. I also know that with the weighing everyday that I was getting almost obsessive, so I am going to try a happy medium, weighing every other day then depending on how well that goes even every second day.

I didn't get in the road miles this week like I was able to last week on Spring Break, but I did get trainer time. Did a 27 mile ride today that went really well. The sore saddle butt is starting to go away, either that or my butt just gets numb after 10 miles. emoticon

The first 5 to 8 miles are the hardes but after that I feel like I can go forever. This also depends on how hilly the route is. The more hilly the harder the time I have. I haven't quite gotten the hills down yet.

I can't limit myself to once a week either. I need to check each morning to make sure I'm on track. I don't expect to lose everyday and I also know we can go up and down each day, but weighing mself in the morning seems to keep me focused for the rest of the day. I weigh myself everyday but my official, recordable weigh in day is Monday morning. That way it keeps me on track during the weekend.
