ouch, my back

Friday, March 23, 2012

I irritated my lower back this week by sitting crossed legged for hours. I didn't realize the pain until I uncrossed them. So over the week it has gotten worse, because I've worked everyday.

Promising news, though. One of yesterday's interviewer (the VP of the department) called my boss this morning to ask about me. Rumor has it, that isn't common practice unless they are interested. So we will see. I sent my "thank you" email yesterday, and got a reply back from one of the interviewers. He replied back and said "Thank you for your time and a very professional interview. Wishing you best of luck." Now I don't know if the professional part was a joke or not because by the time I left, we were yucking it up. I didn't reply to that email, just in case it was sincere.

Yucking it up is usually a good sign. It shows that the interviewer was comfortable with you and you had some common ground. Also, if the person was insincere why would they take the time to respond to your email? The tea leaves say you did fine. emoticon
