Back from vacation and ready to get on track!

Our trip was a blast! Snowboarding for 7 hours a day, hanging out with good friends, and exploring new towns! I had so much fun. I was so sore the first three days, but by our fourth day on the mountains, I was feeling great and my muscles were used to the exercise. it amazes me at how in shape I am and yet the altitude still screwed with me...I could barely walk up stairs without getting out of breath! But all that weight lifting helped me to keep up with the snowboarding for hours! I was still sore bc there just isn't any way you can prepare yourself for 7 ours of exertion a day unless you have 7 hours a day to prepare for it.
I did have two crazy falls on this trip though. I knocked myself out on the first day. Was getting back into the groove and went too fast, caught a lip and went flying and landed smack on my butt...didn't hit my head or my feet, so all of my impact went straight to my tailbone and up my spine causing me to hurt bad and then black out. Hubby woke me up and I was good to go after about five minutes of rest. Then on the last day, I was going pretty fast and trying some new things and caught a lip while turning. My body twisted funny when I fell and tweaked my hip flexer. Feels like I may have strained it since walking hurts. o well though! I had a blast and only missed an hour at the end of the last day from that injury.
Now, to get back on track! I did eat fried food twice and I did drink beer quite a bit. I have to get back into my Paleo diet tomorrow. I can definitely tell that my body prefers that over all the carbs and crap I ate this week. I get home tonight late and then coach in the morning for a few hurs...then I'm hitting the gym and then grocery store to stock fridge for eating better.
Plan is to hit the gym my normal three days for strength training and then four days of cardio either running outside or elliptical at gym...probably will depend on this hip injury...Not sure what I'll be able to do with it. What I do know is that I have 65 days until swimsuit season starts and I have some major goals to achieve by then!
