Day 6

(Blog entry for 21 March 2012...not posted due to technical difficulties):
Today has been a rough day. I think a lot of what I went through today is linked to the emotional work that I did yesterday. Writing a letter to my abuser was a big step for me. But I came through it.
I have felt flat even after I completed my workout (which did end with a serious WooHoo!) 20 minutes of cardio and then squats and pushups. I am on my way to becoming fit and healthy.
I also see myself able to continue with these exercises for the rest of my life...which is something incredibly positive. On another positive note, I am noticing a drop on the scale.
And using SparkPeople's food tracker is definitely making me pay more attention to what I eat. I love the fact that my hubby and I are eating homebaked bread everyday (although I should probably add it's information into the food tracker...rather than using rye bread as a substitute.)
It's nearly a week in and I am feeling positive that I will be able to keep up with the changes that I am making. I am so grateful to be a member of a very supportive team who gets my background and keeps cheering me on!
I'm definitely creating a new happier and healthier me with SparkPeople. Thanks everyone for all the encouragement and support.
