The Simple Diet Journal # 11 -- Down -- in the good way!

Well, the scale has decided to make a move down this week -- yeah! And, I'm happy to say that I lost 3 pounds, which brings me to a total of 19 pounds as I finish up 50 days.
I certainly have been learning how my body likes to work with this diet. I just am so glad to have had our Spark Team to inspire me when I went for 2 weeks without losing anything before seeing a 6 lb drop. That experience helped so much, and inspired me to stay on plan last week following my Hello Zero weigh-in.
I am also down a pant size, which feels great!
I have such wonderful energy and general sense of well-being these days. I think the combo of the diet, with its balance of nutrients, and exercise has definitely been life-giving and restorative.
For exercise, I've continued to walk A LOT, ride my exercise bike, and I've been really enjoying working out with a Kettleball DVD.
I've also been learning how to hula hoop better, and I'm definitely going to try to make my own hoop. The one I have is a great size, but it's very heavy as the person who made it put a lot of water inside. I'm hoping to make one that's lighter so I can mix it up and maybe start learning some of the variations. May just have to make some for the kids, too.
Well, as for the Simple Diet -- I am still amazed at how excited and happy I am to be on this diet. I can't explain it, but it's just that way. I feel so determined and eager to stick with the program and not try to create my own alternative variations. I'm somehow incredibly curious to see what will happen if I follow the plan as created. So that's my continued vision -- to stay on course and keep heading down this healthy path.
