I am hoping to get some feedback from anyone who has worn Barefoot shoes. You know the kind I mean...The ones with the toes in them that remind me of the socks we wore in the late '70s.
I am up in Tennessee visiting my son and went on the walking trail that near his college. While walking up and down the hills I noticed that my foot slides resulting in a blister on the ball of my foot. Now I have strange feet with the second toe being longer than the first (big) toe and gaps between the toes. I need the shoe size I am wearing so that my toes don't curl under. I also have no trouble doing walking dvds (Leslie Sansone) on hardwood floors in these shoes. When it comes to doing the dvds or Zumba on carpeting I prefer to be barefoot.
My questions to all you barefoot shoe people are: When you wear these shoes do your feet slide? And how much room are in the toes? Do you wear socks and if so where do you find them? Last question: Do there shoes have a lot of support or can they take the give and take of Zumba dancing? I don't want to go out and spend a lot of money to be uncomfortable.
I will appreciate any information you all can give me.
