Slightly Embarrassing Question

Ha...THAT title made you want to read this blog, didn't it???


So, I feel like something is changing in my body and I don't know if it's related to working out more, drinking more water, my diet or maybe I'm just getting old. LOL.

Did anyone have any issues with excessive sweating after you had gotten a few weeks into your diet and exercise regimen?


I mean, I know it's been getting warmer and I'm overweight...and overweight people sweat and overheat more easily than healthy folks. But this is unusual for me. Yesterday, I went to help set up at church and I was carrying some heavy things and moving around a lot, etc. I started sweating and it was POURING off of me. Like...to the point that my hair looked like I just got out of the shower. It was SO embarrassing. I went outside to cool down (it was a very crisp, cool morning) and I just could not cool down! Ended up having to go into the ladies room and literally take off my shirt and run cold water over my face and neck, etc. It was really gross. When I went back into the main room, I noticed that it was not hot at all in there. And no one else was all worked up. I know it was just MY body.

Only thing I can think...I have been drinking a TON more water lately. I mean, is it just as simple as that???

If so, yuck. And I hope this passes soon!

    I have been sweating like CRAZY. I hardly ever sweat, even when I was younger and athletic. As we say in the south, I only "glistened".

    I take a break at work and go for a short easy mile walk and it used to be no problem. Now... I am soaked. Sweat pouring. And no change of clothes. (I really need some of those moisture-wicking underwear). I am wiping and wiping and its running like a faucet.

    So YES... I have noticed more sweating. I have been eating healthier, much healthier and I drink lots of water. The body is amazing.

    Maybe my body is settling in now, cause I haven't been sweating as much in the last few days. My clothes are not drenched.

    I love your blogs... really great reading. You should just put it all in a book.

    It would sell... for sure.

    As your food becomes healthy and you loose some weight /inches your hormones will change . It's a female thing emoticon

    ever since i've been rigorously working out and being more active, i've noticed i sweat a lot more also. i have always been a big sweater, but it seems the healthier i'm getting the more i sweat, i also sweat in my sleep which is gross.
    but, what can you do? just wear cool clothing and always have a rag with you to wipe off the excess and buy good deodorant
