30 Day Shred : 2 day rest

Thank goodness for weekends! I definitely needed a 2 day break from the 30 day shred.

Yesterday my arms were so sore i could barely move them in certain directions, today they feel much better. I have also had a popping sound and a little pain in my knee when I walk down stairs, which I have to do often since I live in a 4th floor walk up. I only feel it when i go downstairs, not up stairs, walking or running either. Im hoping this goes away soon since i currently do not have health insurance to get it checked out and i would prefer not to have to stop working out.

Yesterday was a complete break from working out since I needed it. I just cleaned my apartment which some consider a workout, but i never add it as such.

Today I walked over the Williamsburgh bridge. This is a huge accomplishment for me not for cardio reasons, but because i am scared of heights and bridges. I did get dizzy at times, and held onto the railing as I walked, but I trucked through it and finished! After I continued my walk on the east river promenade and completed a 7 mile walk, not too shabby :)

Tomorrow, I will continue with Day 3 of the 30 day shred, but i think i will take it a little easier than day 2.
