Don't mind me, I'm just over here, wobbling away

Sunday, March 18, 2012

Down another pound this week. While I was hoping for more, yesterday I had one of those days, you know the kind, they start off really well and before you can blink you're knee deep in caramel popcorn, chocolate and oven pizzas. It was a carb fest extravaganza in my world. No particular reason. It just was.

So 1 pound is good. I will take that and love it.

The good news however is that I measured myself last week (pre gym) and this week (1 week into having a gym membership) and I lost 0.5-1 inches off almost everywhere, except my arms. Come on arms!! And, AND 3 INCHES off my thighs. How awesome is that? 3 inches in one week! I knew all that swimming and running and lugging heavy furniture up and down stairs until my legs shook was good for something.

Oh and while I thought I had my stress eating under control, yesterday proved that I decidedly do not. Not at all. But today is a new day, I had an on plan brekkie and if I could just find the energy to have lunch (it's 14:30) then that would be on plan too. Today is the UK Mother's Day so will be eating out with my mama but am going to Zumba first so that might help combat some of the calories coming my way.

Oh and David? I have a buffet on Thur night (an event!!!) and guess what? I'm NOT just going to eat anything I want all week! Guess your therapy is helping us both, hee hee, at least I'm benefiting from yours until I can afford some of my own.

So despite the fact that my legs and bum jiggle like you wouldn't believe while running or doing zumba and the fat on my arms frightened even me when I was swimming, I shall persevere and hopefully wobble it all away emoticon
