ASSURANCE OF HEALTH

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds."

Jeremiah 30:17 (NIV)

Focus: Goals and Aspirations

Doctors attribute many illnesses to habits of unhealthy eating and a lack of exercise. If you desire to get yourself in shape this year, set goals that are realistic and never doubt that it is God's will for you to be healthy and whole. Pray and ask the Lord to help you in your quest. Once you commit to the process, stick with it. Whatever tries to keep you from seeing it through is an enemy. Stay the course and ignore the temptations. You have the ability to win if you are willing to see it through and refuse to quit.

Food for Thought: You only have one life to live. Do not allow your diet to end it prematurely.

"Father I ask you to help me remain firm in my commitment to care for my body."

Amen-Amen-Amen!

@ Living4Him keep them in your prayers. I'm not sure how you conduct the classes but perhaps you can make it more interactive. I find when people are more engaged in that aspect it makes it more interesting or do something like a soul train line..so everyone has a chance to dance in the center and work their way down the line (just a thought) emoticon

This is right on! I am seeing that more and more. I have many that start Zumba class but so many that have quit because of illnesses and then they have a hard time getting back on track. I'm trying to figure out a good way to encourage them and to let new people know that they will experience road blocks but that they need to be determined.

Great prayers! You know they will be answered since they are 100% in line with God's wishes for us, that we take care of our temple and can live a long life and prosper.

Glad to be on this journey with you.
