What Now???

I have managed to loose 140 pounds on this journey however I can not seem to loose these last 20 pounds. I can contribute some of that to being MIA on spark becuz beleive it or not you are my motivation and inspiration, when I am active on Spark I feel accountable to stay on track. However I am a big girl and I have to take responsibilities for my choices. (Not working out as hard as I can, not counting my calories, etc) I gave this blog the title of What Now, but as I sit here and type I know the answer I just have to stick with it. This is day number three of giving it my all and I feel great. So I guess I answered my own question and what I do now is what I do best.....KEEP IT MOVING

    140 lbs! Wow! You have done an awesome job! Keep at it! Those last 20 may be tough, but they're not tougher than your determination! Shoot, those other 140 weren't. lol You can do it!

    Grats on the superb weight loss. The last 20lbs,man those are for sure the hardest to lose. It's good that you have realized that being here consistently helps you, at least that keeps you moving towards your goal.

    A hint for those last pounds: 3-5 minutes in a cold shower each day.
    We have 2 different types of fat, white fat (the regular stuff) and brown fat (the special stuff). Brown fat burns off white fat to regulate our body temperature. So, when we are cold (shivering cold) the brown fat burns white fat to "stoke the furnace' and raise body temperature. The brown fat isl ocated mostly in the upper back, lower neck area and upper chest. Have fun!

    You can do it! You've come so far already, don't give up now! Maybe if you change things up a little, do a slightly different exercise routine and make a few small changes in your menu, that would be enough to push your body back into losing again.
