Week 6

Today was the big day. I am on Week 6 Day 2 and had the first 20 minute run. It went fast to be honest, I ran it at an averaged pace of 5.2 on the treadmill. My compression shorts gave my problems for the first 5 minutes so I stopped a couple of times only for a few seconds at a time to fix them. I also need some better earphones I am tired of constantly having to shove my earphones back in my ears. But other then those minor complications it was great. I had a fantastic weight lifting workout afterward and feel magnificent. Next up Week 6 Day 3- 15 minute run, 3 minute walk, then 10 minute run!! emoticon emoticon

I tried making Turkey Muffins (a recipe I found on one of my sparkpeople friends page) VERY VERY GOOD. I also tried Quinoa I love the stuff. I added it to my stir-fry veggies with a little teriyaki sauce and I almost ate the whole bag of veggies!! Can't wait to make more of the stuff. The texture is great and quinoa basically adds to the taste of any food you put it with. Must try for those that haven't.
