Who needs the beef? I don't

My husband and I have decided to stop eating beef recently. I totally love steak, burgers and all of the good stuff. I know in the long run it will be better for us. So far it's been about two weeks and haven't really had any cravings for a steak. I know it will be tempting during the upcoming spring/summer BBQ's. I am doing this to lower my cholesterol. My doctor told me a couple of months ago to keep an eye on what I eat and try to naturally lower my cholesterol so she won't have to put me on meds I need to lower it 20 points. So I have cut back on carbs, stopped eating beef, switched to eating egg beaters instead of regular eggs. I am eating more whole grains Cheerios! I'm taking a multi vitamin, b12, vitamin d, fish oil as part of my daily routine. U;m still trying to loose some weight and make better food choices fill my plate with more veggies. I hope all will have a positive effect once I go back for blood tests in April.

    We mostly eat grill chicken. I do enjoy seafood. You can have fish three times a week and try to bake it not fry. Goes well with asparagus. Much luck to you on lowering your cholesterol.
