outside the comfort zone

this is very much outside of my comfort zone, but i am determined to be a healthy and happier person and to stay that way. i find i feel so much better when i exercise and have more energy. i have been a yo-yo exerciser most of my life. i will do real good for a few weeks and then i slack off for a few weeks.

one of the difficulties has been on the days i work. i'm a critical care nurse, work 12 hour shifts and have to leave about 0600 to get to work on time. so my new goal has been to get in 10 minutes in the am before my shower. i finished up a 3 day stretch and i did it....yeahhhh. i did some sun salutations to warm up and then did push ups and cruches till the light goes off. i have a big beautiful bathroom, it has a warming light that has different times on it, set it for ten minutes and off i go.

i just adore this site, i have been having so much fun with it. i applied to be a co-team leader of an inactive spark team i had signed up for. another step out of my comfort zone, but one i hope will help me by making me more accountable.

have a great evening all.........judy

Welcome to Spark and hope you enjoy being here as much as I do. I have to say that I have had my ups and downs, but I keep coming back for more. Spark has really helped me learn so much about my eating habits.
