OHHHHHHH YES I DID!!!!!!!!!

Again, it's been way too long since my last post. I was ecstatic to have reached 199.5. Now I am laughing. After my gastric bypass I lost 105#. Unfortunately I regained almost 40 back. I have struggled to lose it again. On April 18,2011 Gracedale (Northampton County,Pa) gave me the opportunity to become a viable member of its staff. I got my CNA back after being out for 12 years, and I love my job. I have lost 33# since April 2011, and am now 185#!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I work 3-11 so we are moving most nites all shift. My average break is 10 minutes if I'm lucky enough to get that. But I love it. I float from floor to floor filling in as needed. And many of my ladies love me. It's a great feeling to walk on a floor and have someone say "I'm so glad you're here! I missed you!" And the weight loss makes it so much easier to carry my 53 yr old body thru 8 hr shifts working sometimes 15-30 day stretches. I love to work my days off. Mom says "you may still be in a hole(financially)but now you have a ladder". So I smile everyday as I drive 18 miles East on RT 248, and as I crest the final hill before the building, I look left and smile even more! Thank you Gracedale for taking a chance on a 52 yr old lady and giving her a chance to do the work she loves!!! And I am healthier today because of it!!!
