Well, it has been about 3 weeks since I fell off the wagon again. THIS time it was my darn knee. I don't know what I did, but I hurt it BAD. I made an appointment to see my doctor, but they called and rescheduled for me to see their less than competent physician's assitant. I have seen her before and it seems she prefers to get patients doped up on some meds and sent off on their merry way. I got discouraged at the thought and just sat in my own self pity. I am tired of feeling crappy. I miss how I felt after working out, so I declare I will hop back on the wagon TOMORROW. I will start out wrapping my knee and walking. It hasn't hurt this week, so I am hoping it is healing.We'll see how it goes...

    Injuries can be discouraging, but don't push yourself too hard too fast. Do you have access to an indoor pool or know anyone that does? I found that when I tore my ACL muscle, swimming felt good to me because it was something I could actually still do.

    If not, just take it easy and listen to your body. If it hurts beyond the point of soreness, stop! And above all, keep drinking fluids.
