Post holiday measure up!

Thursday, March 01, 2012

Well it's the start of a new month, so time for my regular measure up. Seemed a bit mean this time around as I only got back home from holiday last night, but there's no rest for the wicked! I know I exercised well while away (and it was great out walking with my friend's and my sister's dogs), but I was reasonably relaxed about eating, although was still aiming to keep on track as best as I could without tracking, or being a food Nazi!
So here are my measurements taken this morning 2nd March (weight measured before brekky, everything else after), and comparing them to those taken at the beginning of Feb:

Weight 70.1kg = -1.1kg
Waist 85cm = -1cm
Hips 96.5cm = -0.5cm
Thighs 55.5cm = -0.5cm
Upper Arm 29cm = no change (this has never changed the entire time I've been sparking!)
Waist:hip ratio 0.89 = no change
BMI 25.7 = -0.7 (only 0.8 away from being out of the "over" category!)

So am very happy there are a lot of minus signs and no pluses! Progress continues to be steady and slow, with about 1kg evaporating into the ether each month still! S'pose I should get off my butt and go do some sweating then!

Thanks for all your continued support and encouragement! Mirrors, mirrors on the wall, I will be slim in no time at all!

In fact, I might add this as part of my Spark signature I like it so much! Maybe those 3x mirrors in the fitting room were a motivational gift from the fairies!?

Isn't it awesome to see progress even when not totally focused on your workouts and eating? Once your body gets used to it, progress still happens. Portions are smaller, and all that, so your body can keep working while you relax a bit :) BTW, my thighs and arms don't move much. My left arm has gone down 1.5 inches, and the right, 1 inch. Then again, not much focused on the arms, lol...yet! Congrats on continued progress. Love to see some progress pictures - I love progress photos! :)
