Well, here it is, March 1, and I have gained 5 pounds since my last post. HMMMM. I see a trend here. I don't keep promises to myself. I have set a goal to lose 20 pounds by the end of may. This will put me at 155. This is an achievable goal. I have started tracking my calories again, because it works. It is tedious, but it works. To simplify, I plan out my menu, and put everything in ahead of time. Thus, no surprises. My goal for today is to eat no refined sugars, only those found naturally in fruit. So far so good. Candy, and sweets are my greatest weakness.
I had a physical done, and my blood work came back great. My thyroid seems a little on the low end of the normal range, but my doctor doesn't seem concerned. I think that if I don't lose weight after a month of tracking everything I eat, I will go back in and have the thyroid reevaluated.
