So, didn't feel so great over the weekend. I thought I was okay on Monday, so I went to work, but didn't make halfway through the day before I was doubled over. Bah. I've been about 50/50 on food. I do fine until dinner. I really just need to make dinner whether I like to or not. Then, I need to eat a serving and stop. It's not hard, I know. It's just that after a super stressful day at work, I just want to lie about.
I can get there, I know, I just need to buckle down.
Also, slightly bummed. Now that I am running around like a fool at work I thought I should dig out my pedometer. I wore it yesterday and logged over 10000 steps. The only problem is that it doesn't like to stay clipped on my waistband. So, I wore a belt today to attach it. Somewhere between the front door and the bus stop, it disappeared. I'm guessing it's somewhere in the snow and slush. At least I did figure out that I am logging an extra 2000 steps between the bus stop and work (both ways) now that I ride the bus to work, before I lost it. Luckily, I didn't spend much on it since I was worried about losing it.
I did manage to get out for my run yesterday. When I walked from the bus to home it was lightly snowing. By the time I came out for my run, it was pouring, a heavy slushy mix. I kept at it, and it turned out to be a good run. The hot shower at the end was especially satisfying!!! I also looked up a simple marinade recipe and I have some various kinds of fish marinating in the fridge for the rest of the week's lunches and I have some fish and veggies ready to go for supper the next two days. As long as I can resist treats and don't succumb to the allure of take out I think I can survive the week, maybe even be down a bit!
